Survival through economic and Financial Discrimination. YMMWF Lahore Pakistan

The Economic crises for Pakistani Christian community has no survival,  as the world is passing through a  global economic recession and the life for a poor Christian families which are not able to face the rising price of food, water gas, electricity in Pakistan.
The situation for of poor, middle and lower living class of Christians in Pakistan was never easy; a part of religiousness discrimination is high on the rise in these days. It has become extremely difficult to survival for Christians in society, where there is not equality of economic development and business development of Pakistani Christian. The economic equality of Pakistan should be that all residents are equally rich, and have the same status in the economy; they had the same opportunities, non-discriminatory on grounds of race, sex, condensation, ability, culture or wealth.

Pakistan is a Muslim majority society and more 60% of population of society having lake awareness and the literacy rate is very low as compare to other nations of our Area zone, due to this there is economic discrimination against minorities and especially for Christian of Pakistan is very high often it can be seen in many business sectors of Pakistan.

A restaurant and beverages sector has a big issue of discrimination, for a common Christian. it’s impossible to open a small fast food or a soft drinking shops or Tea bar , due most of clients will not eat or drink from a Christian as most of them think we are untouchables, and these kind of thinking is very common in schools and other Areas of life a Christian can’t drink and eat in the same plates due his faith and  that’s a big reason that a Christian can’t open a restaurants in Pakistan The social and economic discrimination also exist in other sector of business too, like, education health,professional services and, Doctors, lawyers, teaches, also suffer from this kind of discrimination every day.

There are few Pakistani Christians which has the economic stability to start or run a business, but most of Christian business persons have small size businesses and it is due to lake of excess to credit and to international markets.

But most of Christian Representatives in The Government has never showed any interested to creating a business development program or a funding or any system to generate new business opportunities and investment awareness for Christian youth.

Apart some International churches has set up school and healthcare units and training institutes in Pakistan , but business community is not able to create new business ventures and is not able to create new job and opportunities in key sectors like, Health, Education etc.  Churches, missionary or some international NGOs are able to run development programs but due to wrong management and lake of effectively system it has become a major case of discrimination between poor’s of society.
YMMWF Pakistan wants to focus on business development Project for Christian by creating a development fund for Christian business community though, a well studied program; under that program should create funds, training and formation programs to share know how. This program will help to creates new jobs and provide oxygen to poor lungs for the business community of Pakistan.
